Thanks so much for listening to The Being Leader. I'm Annabel Graham.
I’m a leadership coach working with individuals & teams to help enable high performance. After nearly 20 years in senior leadership roles within retail, I realised that developing people and creating great teams who really deliver was the part of every role that I loved. So, I decided to focus on that.
I believe everyone has the ability to be a great leader and inspire teams to deliver outstanding results; but they do need to develop some skill and knowledge along the way. They also need to recognise what makes them do what they do, what is important to them, and what they stand for. Then, from that starting point, begin to engage with those around them in a way that positively impacts both them and others.
They need to develop self awareness, learn to manage themselves to be the best version they can be, and develop a reflective practice in order to embed their new ways as "being" leaders, build on their successes, and engage themselves and others in lifeline learning.
That’s where I come in. I work with a range of organisations, both large and small, from PLCs to small, founder led businesses across many sectors.
As an Executive Coach: I work with individuals from emerging leaders to Board Directors to enable them to develop their authentic leadership style, overcome challenges and adapt their behaviour to be more effective in their roles.
As a Team Coach: I work with teams across all levels, enabling them to develop a high performance culture, engage and deliver for and with their stakeholders, and work with an easefulness and energy that only comes from a high performing team.
As a Coach Supervisor: I work with individual coaches and teams of coaches to co create an environment where they feel safe to explore their work and stretch their thinking and skills, enabling them to develop their reflective practice and learning.
Being present, holding the right space for learning and adapting my style whilst staying true to my way of being is key to enable me to flex across the different roles I play. They all require a different energy, a different focus but pull on the same learning and approach which is rooted as who I am as a leader.
Through the bite size reflections I hope you gain some awareness and diversity of thinking to add to your personal journey as a leader, whatever role you may have. And in being with those who join me in dialogue to explore what impacts us as Being Leaders, I hope you enjoy the richness of experience they bring to the conversation.
Thanks for joining me, Annie.
